Ted Reutz, Ph.D.

Ted holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, specializing in Public Policy, an MA from Stanford University and a BS in finance from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania; all of which he attended with financial aid. He is a frequent lecturer for business groups and at the University of Texas where he periodically teaches RM 369k “Employee Benefits and Risk Management”. Ted has twenty years experience specializing in innovative cost-effective plan designs, pricing structures, and incentive-based benefits for corporate clients. He holds Group 1 & HMO Health Insurance licenses, NASD Series 6 and 63 Securities Licenses, and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Managers.
He was elected to the Austin Lyric Opera Board of Trustees for a second term, serves on the Development Committee and supports scholarships for disadvantaged students to the Opera’s new Music School. Ted lived in South America for five years, speaks fluent Spanish, and has taught courses on exports and financial policy at the Universidad Del Salvador in Buenos Aires.
